Peter Lange is Associate Vice President of Transportation Services at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. He is responsible for one of the largest parking, transportation and fleet operations on any college campus in the country. Prior to joining Texas A&M in 2003, Peter was systems administrator and interim assistant director for Georgia Tech’s Parking and Transportation department in Atlanta Georgia for four years. Peter is the President of the Board of Directors for the Texas Parking and Transportation Association. He is currently co-chair of the International Parking Institute’s Technology committee. Peter was the recipient of the 2009 distinguished service award from the TPTA. He was also chosen for the 2013 Chairman’s Award from IPI and was most recently honored with IPI’s James M. Hunnicutt, CAPP, Parking Professional of the Year, 2015. Transportation Services at Texas A&M was named “2009 Parking Organization of the Year” by the International Parking Institute and the “Innovative Organization of the Year – 2012” by the National Parking Association. Additionally, Transportation Services oversees Alternative Transportation on campus, which just earned the distinction as a “Bicycle Friendly University” in 2015 by the League of American Bicyclists, winning a Bronze designation. Peter has authored a number of industry articles and has presented at numerous industry conferences. He has a BA in marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
