I am pleased and honored to submit my nomination for the Texas Parking and Transportation Board of Directors. Please find my industry qualifications outlined below.

I recently completed my tenth year as a professional in the Parking and Transportation industry. During my tenure in the parking business, I have held positions at all levels of the industry, which provides me a unique depth and breadth of experience and understanding across our industry. My management-level experience includes management of personnel, facilities and equipment. Additionally, I have supported business development activities on both sides—as a proposal writer and as a proposal evaluator. I feel that my full-spectrum experience can bring beneficial perspective and insight to the association.     

Within my current role as Assistant Director of Parking and Transportation at the University of Texas at Arlington, I am responsible for Parking and Transportation management, along with day-to-day operations of the front desk and office staff to support the long-term strategic plan of UTA Parking and Transportation Services. I oversee parking enforcement for daily activities, events, our late-night escort program, and shuttle services here at UTA. I was employed by WinPark/ProPark as a Senior Parking Assistant and later as an Operations Manager at a downtown Dallas Class A building. Previous experience includes various leadership positions within the ProPark system; notably as Operations Manager at downtown Denver Class A building, and promotion to the Canopy Airport Parking Assistant General Manager after my start as Marketing and Sales Manager.

I feel that my vast experience in the industry would be a beneficial addition to the board’s talent. From working in valet and shuttle service, to operations and accounting, and most recently at UTA where we are on the cutting edge of technology, I can contribute a fresh, balanced perspective to the Texas Parking and Transportation Association.
