Jannette benefee

Since 2016, Jannette has been an active member of the Texas Parking and Transportation Association by immediately being a major part of the Planning Committee of the TPTA Roundtable discussions and Conferences in the North Texas area since 2015 as well as shares what DFW Airport is doing with Parking and Mobility during learning sessions.  Jannette also enjoys all the support and collaboration that the TPTA Board and Members bring in the industry.  Through the networking of TPTA, IPMI and NPA, Jannette was honored to served as Secretary on the Women in Parking Advisory Board.

Jannette is now President of the Hispanic Outreach by Leaders in Action (HOLA) which is in internal employee resource group and now a part of the Leadership North Texas Class 14. In addition, serving the Community and giving back has been extremely important to Jannette and she has driven the Day of Caring for TBU by serving the Human Society, Salvation Army, Dallas Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.

Jannette Benefee has added value to the Parking and Transportation Industry by being on the forefront of innovation through use of Business Intelligence tools and facilitating development of new business solutions to elevate her team and DFW Airport.

Joining the Transportation Business Unit (TBU) in 2015, with an analytical background in Food & Beverage, Retail, and Rental Car she quickly acclimated to the parking and mobility world and has motivated others to be innovative by sharing real-world application with peer-to-peer meetings and conferences for parking, mobility, and data analytics.

Her work demonstrates that she also understands that innovation is a constantly evolving process. She is seen as a leader at DFW and many of her ideas have been put into action.

Initiatives include:

·      Inspiring the creation and implementation of the Citizens Analyst team, an internal Transportation Business Intelligence (TBI) Team, “Data that makes sense”

·      Fostering partnership and leading team efforts on a national environmental study to leverage mobility data to optimize energy efficiency and cost reduction

·      Facilitated the implementation and automation of Taxi dispatching application

·      Developed the Prepaid Parking incremental revenue logic, measurements, and collaborated with ITS to ensure accurate data availability

·      Predictive models for traffic demand by customer type and location

·      Built a mobile dashboard to compare the cost of parking to other modes of transportation to support target marketing
